Baseball is alive and well in our little corner of the world. This year our school became an Affiliate School with the Blue Jays Care program. This program is all about belonging, inclusiveness and equity of access. We are certainly feeling the impact of that with 40 girls consistently showing up for practice. It is also about Baseball and our girls are developing skills at a tremendous rate. We received a shipment of top notch equipment to get us started and due to the response of our students we are reaching out to the community for donations of used or new gloves (size 10” or 10.5”). Our coach, Alison Kelly, is so proud of the progress the athletes are making. She is always working to keep things moving and exciting believing in the power of girls supporting girls. County Baseball has opened registration for a Girls Development session for this season. You can register female athletes born between Jan 1, 2010 and December 31, 2014 (see link or contact the school for information: https://app.teamlinkt.com/register/go/pecmba/61065/) We are looking forward to all the potential these athletes have at their fingertips! Thank you to our inspiring guest coaches (Erin, Matt, Lindsay, Carolyn, Hale, Meloni, Kim, Shannon, Tina, Beth, Courtney), our community for their support and our energetic Girl Power Coach Alison. It takes a team, and this team is epic.
